About the position
Wests currently have a casual opportunity available for a numbers-savvy individual at our New Lambton site. As an integral part to our club operations, the Safe Clerk role involves day-to-day operation of our cash handling facility. Key responsibilities include:
- Counting and balancing safe
- Reconciliation of banking for all departments: TAB, Keno, Bar, Gaming, Catering
- Completion spreadsheets for daily banking
- Provide cash & change requirements for a variety of outlets
- Issue payment cheques
- Liaise with Duty Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders of all departments for cash requirements
- Enter information into companies financial reporting system
Certifications required: RSA, RCG
About you
You have an eye for detail and data accuracy, ideally with prior experience in a money-handling position. You are skilled in creating and maintaining spreadsheets, and have a penchant for data-entry. Prior knowledge in the banking sector or reconciliation of EFTPOS and ATMs is highly desirable.
