Safety Adviser | Civil | Demolition

This specialist contractor have a unique position in the market with a secure order book of projects in south East QLD for the next 2 years. They deliver end-to-end civil contracting services to support building & infrastructure works across urban and industrial landscapes and have an unrivaled expertise in all aspects of commercial and bulk excavation, demolition & complex earthworks.
They are growing fro strength to strength in SE QLD with a number of recent protect wins in both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. As of such they have identified an urgent requirement for a Safety Adviser to provide Site based Safety Support across their local based projects.
Reporting to the Safety Manager you will be responsible work health and safety management plans, provide proactive safety advice to site management and engineering staff. The role is very much field based with a high focus to reviewing SWMS and JSA's so we are looking to speak with dynamic safety professionals who prefer to be out with the crews on site and not pushing paper behind a desk.
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Safety Adviser role
- Must possess demonstrated experience in Civil Construction
- Demolition experience is also essential
- Tier 1 Contracting experience is preferred
- Clear confident communicator
The role is a long-term permanent role involved with one of QLD most well respected specialist contractors with the total package in the range of $160k.
