Our purpose drives what we do, to create better days and a place at the table for everyone through our trusted food brands.We’re looking for an experienced Safety and RTW Advisor to join our team at an exciting time as well re-define safety processes and practices in our Manufacturing plant and our Commercial operation to see us into the future. Based at our Manufacturing Plant at Botany, this position will play a key role as we further develop best practice Injury Management and return to work planning as well as supporting the execution of safety programs.A Taste Of What You’ll Be Doing:-
- Manages return to work and injury management processes and activities for ANZ (including non-work related cases)
- Works directly with 3rd party workers compensation providers, communicating with case managers, claims managers, approved rehabilitation providers and key stakeholders. This includes premium advice and assisting in the renewal of all workers compensation policies.
- Supports the Health and safety Manager to execute and deliver health and safety programs including KWS EHS and global EHS requirements and audits.
- Completes health and safety related reporting including; period injury rate reports, serious incident events, Leader Lead Observations, hazards closure rates and government regulatory information and/or response (as needed).
- Monitors & communicates any changes or new requirements associated with return to work and health & safety legislation and compliance to the business.
- Supports the all safety committee meetings including reporting and close out of actions/hazards raised
- Supports the Technical and Maintenance Managers to oversee safety risk assessments for all capital projects and major maintenance in the Botany Plant
- Supports the H&S Manager with all health and safety incidents, RCA and execution of corrective and preventative measures across ANZ to ensure effective management
- Conducts health and safety audits to ensure a high standard of workmanship, both in documentation and job execution.
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Health & Safety or similar discipline
- RTW certification is preferred but not essential
- Previous experience in a similar role in generalist Health & Safety and workers compensation and injury management experience.
- Previous experience in working in an environment with blue and white collar workers.
- Ability to communicate, influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation
