Contact Details: kelley.caggiati@vba.vic.gov.auPosition DetailsReporting to the Head of Safety and Wellbeing Operations, the Safety and Wellbeing Advisor works in partnership with the Safety and Wellbeing Partner to implement the VBA's Safety and Wellbeing Strategy in partnership with divisions and business units across the organisation. In addition, this role will work with leaders and employees to improve safety & wellbeing culture at the VBA.The Safety and Wellbeing Advisor is responsible for:
- The development and implementation of the VBA wellbeing program,
- Providing safety & wellbeing advice and managing Safety and Wellbeing reporting and improvement processes.
- Overseeing the end-to-end management of worker's compensation claim process and return to work coordination.
- Development of wellness plans for staff with impairment in conjunction with return-to-work specialists.
- Demonstrated understanding of Injury Management legislation, Workcover claims management and development of Return to Work Plans.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities for generating workplace innovation, promote a culture of health and safety by influencing and coaching stakeholders and developing and implementing safety & wellbeing programs.
