About Our Client:
Anglo American, together with WorkPac, are currently seeking experienced Safety Advisor Professional to join their team at a mine based in the Bowen Basin. Anglo Coal is also a non-smoking site.
About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Safety Consultant Professional to join their leading mining client. This role will be in the Lake Lindsay and German Creek Site. The successful candidate will provide professional support to the Health, Safety and Environment teams, through co-ordination and administration of Health, Safety and Environment processes and procedures. Roster and remuneration are currently flexible.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Assist the site management team maintain compliance with SHMS
Assist with incident investigations
Maintain accurate records of investigations and safety statistics
Deliver Return to Work Safety Presentations
Coordinate Workplace Rehabilitation Processes, with the Rehabilitation Coordinator
Conduct and Coach Field Leadership safety engagements
Conduct internal audits of safety systems and processes
Coordinate entering of sata for the recording of leadership activities, including indicators, incidents and hazards
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous HSE experience within a mining environment
Relevant Health and Safety qualifications
Current C Class Drivers Licence
Current CBM and standard 11 qualification
