Design & Build Recruitment is representing one of our national clients, a leading commercial construction company. We are currently seeking a suitably skilled Safety Coordinator to join our client's existing safety team for new build projects.

The Role
This is a role where you will be required out on site and also in office. You will be working on live projects across the greater Brisbane area. You will be liaising with the Project Managers, Site Leadership, various subcontractors, and reporting directly into the company Safety Manager.
Responsibilities
- Safety administration
- Incident management
- Site inductions (plant/personnel/equipment)
- SWMS management with subcontractors and employees
- Internal site auditing
- Toolbox meetings and training with employees and subcontractors
- EHS reviews
- Site walks / inspections
- Establishment and maintenance of risk registers
- Use of Hammertech to report and induct & Procore
- 2+ years' Safety Coordinator experience
- Experience working on industrial/commercial build sites $10m+ in value
- Cert IV in WHS
- High level of verbal & written communication
- Ability and willingness to start immediately
- Ability and willingness to work a long term contract
