The Opportunity
Based in Marsden Park, this temporary assignment (4-6 weeks) is a key part of our client's interim solution as they seek a permanent candidate. Working four days onsite and one day from home, the ‘Safety, Health & Wellbeing Business Partner’ will be instrumental in implementing national and site-specific strategies to enhance the organisation's SH&W strategy and performance. Reporting to the Safety Health & Wellbeing Manager - Supply Chain, you will collaborate with site leadership to oversee all aspects of Safety, Health & Wellbeing, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a culture of safety and well-being at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and educate operational leaders on the implementation of WHS policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the WHS Management System.
- Provide specialised WHS support and advice.
- Support the execution of the WHS Business Plan.
- Facilitate interactions with WHS regulators.
- Stay updated on WHS legislation and regulations.
- Ensure reporting integrity through appropriate data and reporting systems.

- Demonstrated influencing and spearheading site-based strategy and initiatives.
- Collaborated with site leaders to integrate WHS policies and procedures.
- Sound knowledge of New South Wales, National, and model WHS legislation.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen.
- Alignment with the organisation’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Min Cert IV OHS or higher qualification in Work Health and Safety.
- 3+ years’ experience as a WHS Business Partner/Advisor.
- Experience in a multi-site employer environment.
- Knowledge of distribution, supply chain industries.
- Satisfactory National Crime Check.
- Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Full and ongoing Right to Work in Australia.
