  • Maintain communication and control of worksite protection personnel, supervisors, signallers, train controllers and drivers.
  • Identify task-based hazards, communicating these to worksite protection personnel.
  • Ensure worksite protection personnel are equipped with correct PPE.
  • Functional delivery of rail safety protection, complying to MTM Safeworking standards.
  • Perform risk assessments of processes, work practices, materials, suppliers and innovations to ensure work is delivered as efficiently and safely as possible.
  • Review/assess compliance of processes to standards and procedures under guidance.

About you:

  • Minimum 3.2 Safeworking qualification (including ASB and Enhanced Lookout modules) – essential.
  • Inner Suburban Unrestricted competency – essential.
  • First Aid and CPR certified.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in rail/rail related industries.
  • Team player who works effectively in group environments.
  • Strong communication skills, in order to excel in high pressure situations.
  • Driver’s License (Manual Preferred)

Ready to apply? Great!

This is a fantastic opportunity to build on the career you've developed to date and take it to the next level by making a tangible impact that matters.
