The Company

Due to continued growth and future projects cemented in Queensland and Northern NSW. Our client is a manufacturer of a major construction product and complete 360 degree project management solutions to the construction, social housing, aged care, government and education sector, is seeking a Sales Administrator to support the Management team into their next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

As the Sales Administrator, you will be involved in a range of functions to drive opportunities and revenue to the sales department. You will be responsible for requirements such as supporting external sales staff, qualifying and generating leads, direct client interaction, preparing sale quotations, conducting client pre-start meetings, hosting project opportunity meetings, managing customer feedback and offering administrative assistance to the sales department.

In this role you will be reporting to the State Manager. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full administrative support to the General Manager, Sales Manager for all sales and marketing related matters.
  • Review and study tender documentation also determine response requirements for each tender and identify parameters of the tender. 
  • Coordinate Tender Review Meetings with relevant teams 
  • Prepare tender documents ensuring all response requirements are met. 
  • Liaise with internal team members as required during the tendering process to ensure all required inputs are progressing and are completed on time. 
  • Develop and input creative elements to tailor the submission to the suit the project. 
  • Liaise with General Manager / Sales Manager / Bid Manager/ Project Managers/ Estimators in regard to status of Sales proposal / tender documents and required inputs. 
  • Prepare Sales proposal / tender submission documentation, finalise and ensure on time delivery. 
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders. 
  • Weekly updates of CRM reporting 
  • Managing specific lead generating activities 
  • Qualify incoming leads and allocate 
  • Hosting Pre-start meetings with new clients to ensure accurate collation of client information 
  • Meet and host clients in the Yatala facility

About You

Indicators of effective performance in the position – i.e. 

  • Excellent presentation both professionally and strong english communication written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised from time to time.
  • Internal Sales experience in a construction business or related industry,
  • Tender management end to end bid coordination experience 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Advanced MS Office 
  • White Card
