As we broaden our reach, we're currently seeking a Sales Agronomist to represent us in Queensland. Committed to fostering sustainable agriculture, we prioritize innovation, integrity, and transparency.
The Role
This position is critical to the future growth of the operation nationally as we develop and launch new products into the Australian agricultural market. Servicing the agricultural region of Queensland, the position of Sales Agronomist reports to the Australian Manager and is responsible for:
- Customer engagement and account management
- Providing agronomic and product application advice to new and existing customers with the view to sell appropriate products to maximise output.
- Playing a proactive role in the development of sales
- Managing effective client and stakeholder relationships in the designated territory
- Provision of internal feedback on products and markets and assisting in driving and supporting R&D projects is required.
The Person
The right person for this role may exhibits the following skills and assets:
- Demonstrated high level of customer service, relationship-building and communication skills in particular on a farm level.
- Experience in agricultural sales will be highly regards.
- Ties to or having grown up on an Australian farm.
- A genuine desire to work in an exciting new business.
- Tertiary qualification in agricultural science, agronomy, or rural technology.
- The ability to work independently while being part of a developing team.
- Reliability, strong organisational skills and accountability
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence to follow through on closing sales with clients.
This role will include significant regional travel and a full valid Australian Driving License is essential.
