The primary focus of the role will be providing growers with advice on the latest inputs in crop protection products, plant nutrition, varieties and other key criteria like crop rotations, moisture conservation, harvesting techniques and other solutions to maximize client profitability.
You will develop strong relationships with a mix of family-owned and corporate farms, fostering long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities:
- Provide clients with the latest agronomic advice, incorporating modern technology for optimal performance.
- Drive business growth through the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry best practices, particularly regarding sustainability and new products and technology.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of current agricultural production techniques to deliver impactful solutions.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills.
- Effectively communicate complex technical information to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of current agricultural nutritional and crop protection products.
- Tertiary qualifications in agronomy.
- Proven commercial field experience in the agricultural sector is a significant advantage.
- Background in a rural business environment
