About the role
Sunfam are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Sales Assistant to undertake front counter sales at Bourbong St, on a full-time permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
The Sales Assistant will be responsible for:
Retail and trade Sales on a variety of products within our irrigation business including irrigation, pumping, water filtration and landscaping.
Answering customer enquires via phone calls, emails and instore
Order allocation and picking/packing
Stock control
Greeting customers, understanding their requirements, and recommending, locating and sourcing stock based on their needs.
Maintaining a practical knowledge base on Sunfam merchandise including being able to explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to the customer.
Quoting and invoicing of Sunfam goods and services as well as Receiving and processing payments
About you:
Our ideal Sales Assistant will possess:
A passion for sales with experience preferably in rural industries & Irrigation systems.
Basic knowledge and understanding of small pumps is desirable
High quality customer service
A safety-conscious attitude; able to take responsibility for their own and others' health & safety.
Skills and experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Word & Excel.
Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team goals.
