Sales Assistant - Frenchs Forest Location

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Sales Assistant with a great sense of humour to join our team in our Frenchs Forest location. In our retail showroom, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service with your caring and empathetic approach to assist our diverse clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Greet, address, and direct customer inquiries both face to face and over the phone.
- Able to quickly acquire relevant product knowledge in order to advise clients on the selection, purchase, or hire of appropriate equipment based on their needs and life stage.
- Demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications:
- Compassionate, driven, and highly versatile individual.
- Experience in providing outstanding, personalised relevant service to our clients.
- Computer literate; experience with point-of-sale and accounting software.
- Prior experience in furniture retailing or the healthcare sector is highly regarded.
- Ability to build sustainable relationships with clients.
- Outgoing personality, great listener, and clear communicator.
- Comfortable making telephone or floor sales in a highly consultative sales environment.
- Organized self-starter capable of achieving results independently.
- Capable of physically demonstrating and assembling items of equipment (including lifting items up to 25kg).
Requirements:
- Current National Criminal History Check (must be clean).
- Current Working with Children Check (preferred).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Proof of Annual Vaccinations (e.g. influenza and COVID-19) as required by our corporate clientele.
