Intensive Farming Supplies Australia is a small family owned and operated business, providing Animal Health and Equipment products to a wide variety of Retail Outlets and Farming Enterprises. Established in 1991, we have built a reputation for excellent customer service and going the extra mile to meet our customers needs.
We understand the urgency of keeping the welfare of our customers animals a priority and helping them look after their animals / livestock is a driving force for our team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team in providing great customer service to our loyal customer base and to build relationships with new clients.
Remuneration will be in line with award rates and subject to your experience. For the right applicant we are offering a full-time casual position with the option to becoming permanent.

Qualifications & experience
Assisting with all areas of Customer Service including:
- Telephone enquiries, Face to Face enquiries and responding to emails
- Handling Sales and Customer enquiries.
- Cash and EFTPOS receipting
- Parts clarification
- Invoice processing, backorder creation
- Stock Picking, Packing and Shipment
- Contacting customers to advise goods are ready for collection or to confirm shipping arrangements.
Inventory Control including:
- Goods Inwards Checking and Unpacking
- Data entry of Goods Inwards
- Sales Invoice and Credit Note processing.
General Office Duties
Abilities:
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
- Ability to work as a Team Player and support others in their roles. Ensuring a “Good Fit”.
- Contribute ideas to improve all areas of the business (including safety)
- Prioritise individual and team tasks as required.
- Work with speed and accuracy in all areas and an ability to multitask.
- Punctuality and Reliability essential as we are a small team.
- A current driver’s license with a good driving history is essential and the ability to confidently drive a 1 tonne ute with a trailer attached would be an advantage. This will allow you to cover for other staff when they are away.
- A forklift license would also be an advantage.
- The ability to lift up to 25kg is essential due to the product range we carry.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Face to face customers sales in store.
- Phone calls to customers building on existing relationships and exploring new business.
- Cash and EFTPOS receipting
- Stock picking, packing and checking - goods inward and freight out
- Invoicing and crediting using Sybiz Vision software - training provided.
- General office duties
- Collating and distributing marketing material to customers
