Duties
- Greets all customers politely when they enter the café or on drive -through
- Records customer orders and transferring these to the kitchen,
- Monitoring orders and ensuring they are promptly delivered, advising customers if they need to wait longer
- Checking orders from the kitchen and packing these for customers
- Help prepare food or otherwise work in the kitchen when necessary
- Preparing milkshakes, soft serve, slushie and coffees as per order
- Listens to and resolves customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries
- Keeps the counter and dining area neat and clean.
- Ensure the ice-cream station and slushie are tidy all the time.
- Fixtures (e.g.walls, floors) and customer bathrooms cleaned and maintained daily
- Sweeps and mops the floor regularly.
- Restocks napkins, straws, cups, lids, and other supplies
- Restocks/packs drinks appropriately and ensure slushie and ice-cream are toped-up regularly
- Rubbish bins taken outside to dispose of rubbish as soon as the bin is full.
- Reporting any faults/malfunctioning or unusual sounds on the equipment
- Other duties as directed by supervisor or management
