Training Unlimited is currently seeking an experienced Fast Food QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) Hospitality/Retail Manager who has supervised a team at either McDonalds, Hungry Jack's, Red Rooster, or KFC, and is ready to take the next step in their career.
We are looking to develop, train, and mentor an experienced fast-food manager into a full-time ‘WA Training Specialist’ role. In this position, you will utilize your existing Hospitality/Retail skills and knowledge to support traineeship students in completing a SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail workplace-based traineeship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visiting your caseload of trainees across WA. You will visit our clients’ fast-food restaurants for their scheduled training/assessment sessions every 6-8 weeks.
- Facilitate classroom training monthly.
- Communicating with traineeship stakeholders to support student progression (trainees, parent/guardian, employer & schools).
- Working autonomously from home when not visiting trainees on-site.
- Connect with the TU team nation-wide reguarly, for focus on continuous improvement and training product improvement.
Working Hours:
- IMPORTANT: You will work most workday afternoons/evenings as your trainees are generally school-aged, meaning they are not available until out of school hours.
- A typical working week:
- Monday till Thursday: 11am until 7pm – working in the field, at our clients’ restaurants.
- Friday: 8am until 4pm – working from home, completing marking & administrative tasks.
- Weekends: Off.
- Traveling regionally/interstate every 6-8 weeks.
Qualifications:
While the following qualifications are desirable, they are not necessary. We are willing to develop the right candidate and sponsor them through these qualifications:
- SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail (desirable)
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (no training/assessment experience necessary)
- An open driver’s licence is a MUST.
- Blue Card (Working With Children Check)
