Sales Assistant - Online Auctions (Automotive)

Bring your eye for detail to this fast-paced online auction Sales Assistant role. 

The Role:

We need enthusiastic people to start immediately in our teams in Canberra, ACT and Caringbah, NSW to ensure that all vehicles in our auctions are correctly presented, photographed, described and entered into our system to deliver the best experience for buyers and sellers. 

You will create detailed listings of cars for sale through our online platform and positively engage with vendors and buyers online, on the telephone and in person. The role also involves driving/handling/moving/cleaning/detailing vehicles as needed to present them in the best light. Some work will be outdoors. Your role will involve online research and accurately entering vehicle descriptions.

Selection Criteria:

In your application you should demonstrate you have:

Essential:

• a valid Australian driver's licence;
• exceptional written English skills including spelling, grammar and punctuation;
• computer skills covering at least the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn new programs (we use a proprietary system and provide training);
• an eye for detail;
• the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines;

Desirable:

• sales and/or customer service experience;
• a passion for cars/motor vehicles.
