An exciting opportunity within our Sales Team exists for two Sales Consultants - one position is in the Public and Education Category and the other in Health and Aged Care.

OPPORTUNITY 1: Technical Sales Consultant

The Technical Sales Consultant role plays a crucial part in driving the success of the business. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of SMART water solutions for a healthier environment and other products in our ranges to a diverse range of clients within the Education and Public sector. You will play a key role in building strong relationships with key decision-makers, providing expert technical advice, ensuring successful project implementation and ensuring seamless project execution from product selection to post-commissioning support.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales & service negotiations with those responsible for making decisions
  • Collect information which may affect sales progress so that it may be dealt with in a professional manner
  • Promote features of the Company's products & services
  • Keep informed on company contract procedures & product/service prices
  • Recommend solutions to problems encountered in preparation of account contracts & concludes negotiations with customer
  • Make recommendations for improvement of products sold
  • Develop innovative sales strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Coordinates implementation procedures to ensure customer satisfaction with product/service utilisation
  • Arranges discounts & services as appropriate for the client so that good relations will prosper
  • Researching products, pricing, and product success to determine customer preferences
  • Participate in customer demonstrations or promotional seminars as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

  • High School completion or diploma or degree
  • Background in Marketing & Sales
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a technical sales or engineering role within the plumbing and engineering sector
  • The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and engage with business partners to build new business
  • Technical knowledge and a strong understanding of plumbing principles, product applications, and Australian plumbing standards

OPPORTUNITY 2: Specifications Sales Consultant

The Architect/Specification Sales Consultant role plays a crucial part in driving the success of the business. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of SMART water solutions for a healthier environment and other products in our ranges to a diverse range of clients within the Health and Aged care sectors. You will play a key role in building strong relationships with key decision-makers, providing expert Architect and Specification advice, ensuring successful project implementation and ensuring seamless project execution from product selection to post-commissioning support.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales & service negotiations with those responsible for making decisions
  • Collect information which may affect sales progress so that it may be dealt with in a professional manner
  • Promote features of the Company's products & services

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

  • Plumbing industry experience/knowledge is preferred
  • Experience in dealing with Architects, Hydraulic Consultants, Plumbing Contractors, Plumbing Merchants and Building Contractors
