Due to continuous growth within our region, we are seeking to expand our team of experienced in-home sales consultants and energy assessors.

The Opportunity

As our In-Home Energy Management Specialist you will be the face of Solahart, meeting with home and property owners directly to tailor a specific solution for their wants and needs across our wide range of renewable energy products and services. Unlike traditional Solar Power companies, at Solahart we value long term relationships with our clients, and we are able to achieve this by providing solutions across, Solar PV, Hot Water Systems, Energy Storage, Metering and Monitoring Solutions as well as consistent and ongoing aftermarket care and services so our customer get the most out of their investment, and continue to return and/or refer business to us.

The Role

As our In-Home Sales Consultant, you will report to the sales manager, additionally you will;

  • Perform In-Home energy assessments of the customers energy patterns in a consultative manner, while establishing and maintaining a strong rapport with them.
  • Tailor a solution to the customer that meets their wants and needs, based on the energy assessment.
  • Carry out a consistent and persistent follow up process with these customers.
  • Achieve and maintain a high conversion rate to meet targets and KPIs.
  • Leverage yours and our extensive network of referrals and capitalise on a very lucrative referral program.
  • Maintain the CRM system, and customer database, with accurate reporting of all customer interactions.
  • Drive new leads via self-generated opportunities and referrals to supplement the qualified leads you will be provided with.
About You

In addition to strong previous experience in a Sales and Business Development role, with face to face or in-home sales, we are also looking for;

  • Experience in direct sales within the renewable energy sector (desired but not essential)
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to close the sale.
  • The ability to work flexible hours to accommodate our customers schedules, with the ability to complete after hours work and possibly weekends.
  • Someone with intermediate computer and time management skills.
  • An open minded attitude to new sales techniques and a willingness to learn new products and services.
  • A full drivers licence.
