A exciting opportunity is available for a Sales Consultant Representative to join the Andersens Hervey Bay team.

The position of Sales ConsultantRepresentative involves the following roles and duties as a guideline but is not limited by these;
As a minimum, you will have the below skills:
You will have at the least 2 years of proven sales experience in a sales role within a retail / trade based industry or flooring sales experience.
The ideal applicant will be responsible for ensuring our clients receive the best possible service, from greeting in the showroom to quoting and measuring on location. Having had previous experience in a sales role within a retail / trade based industry is an advantage, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
We offer full training in our team-oriented environment and the successful applicant would have the support to help develop the skills needed to fulfil Andersens client purchase from planning stage to post installation satisfaction. Your skills will also include;
- Have great computer skills and be competent in using the Microsoft Office Suite
- Manage time effectively and work to deadlines
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Able to take direction and work unsupervised
- You have a current manual car license
- You have well-developed communication skills
- A positive work ethic and team focus

Your duties will include (but not limited to)
- Answer enquiries - from walk-in, phone and internet customers
- Provide product advice and quotations to customers
- Follow up on quotations sent out to customers
- Listen to and identify customer's needs and be creative to tailor suitable solutions or products
- Effectively manage a customer resolution process
- A genuine love for people and a dedication for delivering outstanding customer experience through the sales process
- The ability to undertake site measure, site assessments as well as interpret plans will be of great advantage, but not essential as hands-on training will be provided.
- Liaise with customer and installers prior to the job starting to ensure we meet the customer's wants and needs.
- Liaise with the installers to ensure your jobs are completed on-time, to standard and to budget
- Read, develop and create floor plans specific to the customer’s needs and products
