Guardian Tactile Systems are a well-established Australian owned company manufacturing, supplying and installing flooring safety products to the construction and civil industries nationally. We are seeking an experienced internal Sales Consultant to join our busy team on a permanent full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will excel in communication, both verbal and written, and be comfortable liaising with clients in a professional manner face to face, over the phone, or via email. Key responsibilities will involve corresponding with customers, assisting with enquiries, preparing quotations, following up on enquiries and orders, maintaining sales and marketing materials.
The applicant must have the following:
- previous sales experience;
- excellent communication skills, written, verbal and face to face;
- strong relationship building and negotiation skills;
- ability to interpret customer requirements;
- computer skills are essential;
- full working rights in Australia only;
Desirable skills for the successful candidate:
- ability to read construction plans and interpret technical information;
- an understanding of relevant parts of the construction industry, OH&S and relevant Australian Standards;
