The organisation already has a story to tell in Australia, although the product and brand is not well known yet. Sales through Channel Partners, international clients with Australian operations and some word of mouth has seen steady growth in here and now there is an exciting role to continue this growth journey – specifically within the BFSI sector.
The role will see you refining, building and delivering the strategy for the Australian and NZ market. This is the strongest sector globally for this organisation so understanding the nuances of the Australian market – maturity, barriers to entry, and opportunities across Banking, Superannuation, Insurance, Fintech and other related areas will be critical to your success, as will an established network of contacts for you to draw upon.
This is a new business development role so you must enjoy rolling up your sleeves, leaning on your network for introductions, cold calling, running educational tele conferences, attending conferences and working with presales teams on building proof of concepts. You will also work closely with channel partners on sales opportunities.
Ideally you will have experience selling a platform or technology solution within one of these BFSI domains. Insuretech exposure would be a great advantage.
