Our unwavering commitment to providing our clients with high-quality products has led us to search for a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join our TEAM, supporting business development strategies and cultivating relationships with our clients. Your new Team and Role: As a Sales Engineer, you will work closely with our dedicated Senior leaders, project, and Engineering teams to represent the ACE Brand and build trusting relationships with our clients. Your forward-thinking approach will also assist in guiding ACE to future successes as you effectively take a lead role in the pursuit and sourcing of new business and emerging opportunities.

 Critical to the success of this role is the ability to deliver service excellence to all current and prospective clients, while displaying outstanding relationship and account management skills. Key Responsibilities include: Accountable for developing strong working relationships with customers and generating high-quality sales leads. Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and monitor product performance while reporting on customer feedback or recommendations.

Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) database for your assigned accounts. Undertake timely and effective issue resolution, including identification and rectification of issues and establishing solutions. Ensures proposals/quotes for work requested are well structured, within timeframes, and consistent with company standards.

Promote and market ACE products and services including communicating to customers new products, capacity, and commercial details. Monitor market and advise management of changes in competition, market pricing, upcoming tenders/opportunities, internal and external factors/issues impacting customer base, or other related matters. Evaluate quotations utilising supplier information, cost standards, technical information from quality, manufacturing engineering, and design.

   What we are looking for: Ability to deliver service excellence to all current and prospective whilst displaying outstanding relationship and account management skills. A determination to seek new business opportunities and close deals seamlessly. 3-5 years’ experience in a technical sales role.

Qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or relevant trade experience field. Underground Coal Mining experience and understanding of Conveyor systems (Desirable) Excellent interpersonal, listening, questioning and negotiating skills. Sound product and market knowledge.
