What is the job about?
This role's main target is to achieve sales growth, margin targets and improve customers satisfaction results within assigned customers. You will need to complete agreed annual tactical plans and activities, you will also need support management and colleagues within your team to deliver team targets.
Your main responsibilities:
- Achieving sales and margin targets by provide world class customers service, reflecting comprehensive knowledge of customer needs and perception of best value.
- Execution of the performance unit tactical plan including both sales and marketing activities.
- Continually grow and develop personal expertise within products and applications relevant to the market sector and customer base.
- Deliver added customer value reflecting a sell through mindset, demonstrating an understanding of end customer needs, and where relevant, development of joint dealer/end user activities and or key end user relationships.
- Apply Sales Excellence principles utilizing SAP CRM and collaborate with the Business Development Managers (BDM) and Key Account Managers (KAM) to deliver profitable sales growth across National Key Accounts.
- Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders in the performance unit to achieve goals.
- Retention and growth of key customers, developing and maintaining respected relationships (buying and non-buying).
- Identify and implement new opportunities within the performance unit to increase SOW and potential growth areas.
- Conduct customer training both online and face to face formats.
- Any other duties commensurate with the position as required.
Profile description:
Your background
- Appropriate proven history of same or similar role can be considered a suitable and desirable qualification.
- Recognised studies or certification within professional sales development, negotiation and or business to business selling, in addition to a foundation technical qualification (electrical, mechanical Trade or Engineering) are desirable qualifications.
- Min 3 years' experience in technical sales role preferably in the municipal sector.
- Demonstrable proven history of achieving targets.
- Demonstrable proven history of developing trusted customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Expertise within the municipal sector, being able to select appropriate Grundfos products as well as being able to identify opportunities and engage with key stakeholders in the municipal sector.
