Position Brief
- Building relationships with new and existing clients both over the phone and face to face offering a full suite of transport solutions.
- Versatile working conditions with a mixed model of in office and on the road days
- Preparation of Customer presentations on our suite of services across all sectors Parcels, Couriers , Taxi Trucks, Parcels , Rapid Express Couriers, Hotshots and Warehousing
- Addressing the needs of the client transport and logistics requirements
- Conducting market research to identify possibilities and evaluate client needs
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Liaise with operational employees providing a brief on new customer accounts
- Participate in inclusive sales meetings where each team member has the opportunity to implement new initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
What will you need
- Genuine commitment to providing high quality client services
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation
- Experience in dealing with high revenue clients and proven track record in service based sales
- Excellent time management to maximise your work day
- Positive and optimistic attitude with a passion for transport and providing a high level customer experience
- Sound written communication skills and basic experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
The ideal candidate will have experience either in the transport industry or in an environment that has transferable work skills.
