Twin Disc (Pacific) Pty Ltd is the regional subsidiary of Twin Disc Inc in the USA. Twin Disc Inc. designs, manufactures and distributes power transmission equipment for a wide range of applications. Based at either Brisbane or the Gold Coast (dependant on applicant) and reporting to the Sales Manager - Seakeeper, the key purpose for the role will be to develop and increase Seakeeper Gyro Stabiliser product sales to Authorised Dealers and End Users in Australia, establishing strong brand recognition, market penetration and growth.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Create and formalise strategic plans to achieve sales budgets and grow new business for sales of Seakeeper Gyro product within Australia.
- Maintain and develop the network of dealers in Australia for Seakeeper Gyro products
- Work closely with Authorised Dealers, end users and trade customers to promote Seakeeper product, utilising sales initiatives to grow direct and indirect business.
- Prepare special and regular sales reports for management, including monthly reports, call plans and call reports and ensuring the customer information database & CRM is up to date.
- Monitor and participate in new productpromotion, advertising and merchandising activities, meetings and presentations.
- Ongoing attendance to, and occasional organisation of, industrytrade shows.
To successfully undertake this role, ideally you have the following work experience, skills, and personal attributes:
- Be a sales professional with a minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience, ideally in the marine/boating industry.
- Have a good understanding of marine systems and electronics
- Excellent customer relationship and business development skills.
- Advanced verbal & written communication skills.
- Sales ability – from prospecting to CRM, problem solving, negotiating and closing sales.
- A driver’s license and ideally an RMDL (Recreational Marine Drivers Licence) or higher.
- Computer skills including MS Office, Salesforce, PowerBI and ERP systems.
- Having a formal marketing or business qualification is desirable.
- Be passionate about the marine/boating/fishing industry!
