My client is a self-serve advertising platform specialising in multi-channel solutions, including native, display, video, connected TV, audio, and in-game ads. Founded with a vision to be more than an advertising platform, we are a hub of innovation, imagination, and creativity.The Sales Manager role is a dynamic blend of sales activities and customer relationship management. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for growing existing business and closing new programmatic advertising revenue from agencies and brands. A successful candidate must have a clear understanding of clients' long-term business objectives and seek partnership opportunities to further grow their business with us. This role primarily focuses on bringing in new clients, but also involves working closely with Account Managers to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new campaign strategies and solutions to clients and building strong relationships.
This is a remote-first position open to candidates based in the Australia or New Zealand region.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, pitch, and close platform sales deals with local agencies and brands
- Work closely with management/product teams to specify and build products
- Manage existing client relations and seek account growth opportunities
- Work with dedicated Account Managers to grow and retain existing accounts
- Collaborate with the in-house Business Development team to qualify inbound leads
- Experience in digital advertising sales, with programmatic experience being a plus
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or advertising technology
- 4+ years of business development and sales experience in programmatic
- Utilized various CRM tools to build a robust pipeline and ensure ongoing client satisfaction, renewal, and opportunity discovery
- Experience building client pitch decks and conducting associated research to close new business
- Track record of success in a quota-carrying environment
- Ability to grasp and communicate technical concepts and platform-based knowledge
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients within the region
