Your responsibilities…
- Deliver on sales and margin targets
- Build sales and key account plans and focus your team on key segments and types of customers that provide strategic benefit
- Hands on, in the field sales management, with joint calls and sales coaching
- Develop outstanding working relationships with senior management within key customers
- Lead and coach with regards to business development, key account management and share of wallet improvements
- Mentor, coach, guide and hold the sales team accountable
- Help develop and critique key account plans with your staff
- Analysis of sales and market data
- Reporting, forecasting and budgeting
- Problem solving and trouble shooting
You are...
- Commercially astute
- Hands on with clients and your sales team and love doing joint calls
- Able to lead a sales team and increase sales, preferably with a strong knowledge of extracting maximum sales out of trade customers
- Ability to share your knowledge and lead and guide your team
- Able to create enthusiasm and buzz within your sales team, but not at the expense of commercial skill development and execution
- Tertiary qualifications are preferred (or willingness to undertake further study)
- Love the use of CRM and good with reporting and sales analysis (you drive a quality Excel spreadsheet!)
