This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Manager to make their mark and implement key strategies to broaden the sales base and build new, sustainable channels and customer relationships.
The Role:
Working closely with the Directors of the business and leading a team of three, the Sales Manager is responsible to design, develop and manage an effective sales process, aligned with the set strategic plan. Some of your key responsibilities will include:-
- Increase sales traction and revenue in the specifier, projects and local merchant channels
- Continue to grow the export channels though trusted distributors in emerging markets
- Lead, manage and develop the existing sales team with the view to grow the team accordingly
- Design effective sales strategies, customer segmentation and accurate reporting to efficiently manage the entire sales function
- Review and develop existing contract and sales terms to promote profitable and sustainable future growth
- Play a key part in developing and executing the business strategy and mid-long term plans to achieve the desired objectives
- Create a high performing and engaged sales team with a positive and collaborative culture attuned to the core business values
A background in bathroom supplies is not required, however you are experienced in top tier, building materials and supplies, with a demonstrated track record of successful business and relationships selling into the projects, architects and design, merchants and distributors channels. In addition you will have:-
- Effective people, communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage a diverse audience and stakeholders at all levels
- B2B and B2C sales experience and expertise in doing sales with project developers, builders, architects and designers as well as distributors and merchants
- A hands on, and nurturing leadership and management style and aren’t afraid to get involved whilst continuing to develop, mentor and grow your sales team
- The passion, drive and determination to get involved with a business at an exciting expansion phase and work through early development matters and be a team player
