Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Launceston, Tasmania. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the expansion and development of our business by assisting with course rollout and driving overall RTO business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients including arboricultural companies, local councils, government agencies, and industry stakeholders in Launceston and surrounding areas.
- Promote Urban Forest Training's suite of courses and services to prospective clients through effective communication and tailored presentations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives.
- Generate leads through proactive outreach, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Actively manage the sales pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up with prospects.
- Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients, addressing inquiries and facilitating the enrollment process.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to effectively position Urban Forest Training in the market.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the education or training sector.
- Strong understanding of the arboricultural industry and a genuine passion for promoting safe practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, aXelerate).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed within Tasmania and occasionally interstate.
