Qualifications & experience
- Proven experience (at least 1 year) as a Sales Representative.
- FMCG experience will be highly regarded e.g. Independent food outlets who supply frozen, smallgoods, cheese, grocery products to the consumer.
- Strong track record of managing key accounts and delivering exceptional results.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to foster strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Excellent time management, planning, ability to work autonomously, with computer and CRM & sales ordering programs.
- Proactive and driven attitude, with the ability to identify and implement new business opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Cold calling business knowledge and experience needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is highly advantageous
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- A genuine passion for customer service and developing the business
- Passionate to work as part of a team to achieve individual and team goals
Tasks & responsibilities
- Your territory will be the whole of Melbourne metro and some country area
- Manage key accounts within the food retail and food wholesaling sectors, ensuring strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
- Develop strategies to enhance existing partnerships and drive growth within the accounts.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding the customer base through targeted outreach and relationship-building efforts.
- Collaborate with the marketing and senior sales team members to develop effective strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify potential business opportunities and risks.
