For three decades our Client has been the trusted supplier of premium boutique food products to restaurants and cafes. Their products are manufactured and distributed throughout Australia and are made from quality local produce.

About the Role:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding their customer base, and fostering long-term business relationships with new and existing clients. This role is crucial in maintaining their reputation for excellence and supporting thier continued success in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with restaurants, cafes and other potential businesses
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities and customer preferences
• Monitor and report on sales performance, including tracking key metrics and providing regular updates to senior management
• Utilize CRM (Tall Emu) software to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
• Coordinate with the distribution team to ensure availability and despatch of sample products

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven track record of success in sales in the Food Industry
• Strong understanding of the restaurant and cafe market, with established industry contacts
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with a proactive and results-driven approach
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
