About the Role:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding their customer base, and fostering long-term business relationships with new and existing clients. This role is crucial in maintaining their reputation for excellence and supporting thier continued success in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with restaurants, cafes and other potential businesses
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities and customer preferences
- Monitor and report on sales performance, including tracking key metrics and providing regular updates to senior management
- Utilize CRM (Tall Emu) software to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
- Coordinate with the distribution team to ensure availability and despatch of sample products
- Proven track record of success in sales in the Food Industry
- Strong understanding of the restaurant and cafe market, with established industry contacts
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with a proactive and results-driven approach
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
