We are currently seeking a Sales (Inventory) Manager!
This role will be an on-site based position, we are looking for somebody with a strong SALES background in Food/Wholesale! Someone who is confident on phones and has the ability to upsell product to existing and potentially new customers!
Our client is a wholesale food distributor that supplies fresh & frozen premium Beef, Lamb, Poultry, Pork & Seafood products to Pubs, Clubs, Restaurants and Caterers based in Moorebank.
Position Objectives
A diverse role providing a variety of responsibilities comprising of sales, inventory, logistics and directly assisting the owners and the GM perform their duties as and when necessary especially with upcoming projects.
- Prepare and monitor sales forecasts/targets to identify untapped opportunities and maximize sales.
- Process sales orders daily in the early morning.
- Motivate sales team to meet objectives and customer requirements.
- Manage customer database and utilize E-Suite information effectively.
- Analyze sales data to identify strategies for achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Review customer sales drop-off reports and manage stock clearance and slow-moving items.
- Oversee sales team management, KPI compliance, and implementation of sales strategies.
- Perform inbound and outbound sales calls regularly.
- Coordinate cyclical and annual stocktakes and update stock database and price lists.
- Assist with purchase order entry and analyze delivery manifests for efficient delivery.
