Our client is a leader in high-quality Outdoor Furniture, shades and umbrella products. They wholesale to large department stores, as well as established small to medium independent retailers and franchisees, and are looking for a State Territory Manager to conduct regular client call cycles largely across metro Melbourne, with occasional regional travel. This autonomous, WFH Sales role also oversees Tas and SA, so requires occasional interstate travel. The successful candidate will have strong client relationship management skills within a wholesale / retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a large sales territory (80% Metro Melbourne, 20% regional) including regular call cycles.
- Oversee SA and Tasmania, including periodic sales trips.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and establish relationships with new ones.
- Deliver on key performance indicators and targets.
- Promote and support all areas of the business within the territory.
Skills & Experience
- Previous 'on road' sales experience, managing a large territory.
- Strong relationship management skills within a wholesale / retail environment.
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to easily build rapport.
- Experience working to set KPI's and sales targets
