We are now willing to strengthen our team with an enthusiastic Sales Representative, to manage the entire Pastry Portfolio (Pastry/bakery, Manufactures, Pastry chefs) in Melbourne.
The Job requires a proactive candidate, with a result oriented culture, and a strong taste for performances. Great communication skills are also mandatory to perform in this job.
Your main mission is to add new accounts under your management while following up your existing customers.
Job Description: Sales Representative
- Represent the company towards its customers.
- Maintain current customer base and identify new prospects
- Build trusted advisor relationship to open new accounts.
- Develop sales with new item within existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet KPI.
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
- Leverage sales performance, using the company’s products catalogue visiting your customer base, canvassing new prospects and exploring new distribution channels.
- Benchmark market trends ensuring that the Company’s product range and pricing meets market requirements
- Provide weekly sales performance reports (model provided by the company).
- Forecast and track key accounts metrics such as monthly sales results and annual forecasts.
- Receive training on products and self-develop technical knowledge around them, in order to increase your selling skills.
- Take responsibility for and lead the execution of agreed sales strategies.
- Attend and assist in trade fairs, demo events in Australia, Asia and Europe.
- Support with tele sales when needed.
Skills/attributes:
- Profil pastry chef, a + or at least strong knowledge in Pastry products.
- Strong experience in Food Service Pastry industry (Hospitality and/or Distribution).
- Great communication skills

- Minimum of three (3) years in a similar role
- Citizen or Permanent with Full rights of work
