You will report to the Branch Manager, by providing professional advice, sales and products for their business. There is a distinct element in this role to build a network, utilise your existing network and develop new business for the organization. Your leadership qualities and initiative will be some of your key attributes
To be successful in this role you will have a positive, ‘thick-skinned’, self motivated, can do attitude and team-orientated approach. To make a solid contribution to this organisation your emphasis will be on exceptional customer service, Sales, building relationships, business development & reactivation of dormant accounts. By using your strong communication skills and you have the ability to sell products and close sales.
Electrical supplies is an integral part of our client’s business so therefore a background and previous working knowledge within the Electrical, Lighting , Solar, Hardware ,Civil, Building/Construction or Trade industries will be of advantage. Your sound data entry skills and the ability to utilise a sales database will also support your application.
A familiarity with projects, an understanding of electrical and associated supplies, while communicating with internal or external trades’ people, Estimators, Project Managers and key decision makers is an integral part of this role. Weekly reporting on sales your increasing sales growth will be required with the expectation of also reporting on market trends and competitors pricing/accounts etc. Spasmodic travel may be required intrastate and interstate as required.
