The successful candidate will be responsible for Managing the quotation process and ordering function of Flow Control and will be the main point of contact to support the sale of products and services. The position is located in Northmead, Sydney. The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Managing the Quotation team and ensuring that quotation proposals are technically & commercially compliant with company policies and procedures.
Ensuring that orders are placed correctly and within the time frame set.
Managing the Order Handling team and ensuring that orders are handled in accordance with policies and procedures.
Follow up on factory delivery time, arrange shipment and collect payment as per customer's purchase orders.
To support distribution channels on CPQ systems and set processes for quotation and order handling with distributors.
Manage the monthly booking and invoice value and meet the targets set by the Business unit.
Responsible for product training for staff and customers.
Responsibility for sales document control.
To support the Sales and Distribution Channels and manage complaints and issues affecting customer orders. Liaising with sales, service, finance, and operations in to solve order issues.
Manage local warehouse on stock and delivery.
Requirements
What we'll need from you is to be a self-starter who is motivated, professional and approachable. To be successful in the role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
A mechanical aptitude:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good knowledge of Sales Support processes and systems.
Valves/Control Products and/or process automated system experience is desirable but not essential.
A strong work ethic with a positive working attitude and the desire to achieve great results
Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
