SalaryProgressive National Courier Company operating across Australia and New Zealand, due to continued growth and success they are seeking a Sales Support. The company provide same day, interstate and international deliveries utilising custom built software giving them the edge over other transport providers.
It is essential you have a background in transport or freight forwarding, with skills in quoting and customer service. In the role you will be responsible for supporting the Sales team through managing incoming calls and providing administrative support. The role offers diversity and would suit someone who enjoys problem solving, and a mix of customer service and administration.
Duties & responsibilities include:
- Reporting for clients and account managers on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis
- Managing incoming calls, handling inquiries or directing through to appropriate contact
- Quote preparation and assisting with tenders and proposals
- Assist with the set up and implementation of new accounts
- Provide general administrative support to sales team including management
- Respond to prospective clients
- Monitor and organise office supplies for the sales team
- Liaise with internal departments, clients and stakeholders on behalf of the sales team
- Experience working in the Transport or Freight industry
- Customer service skills with experience in quoting
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Must be organised and able to meet deadlines
