We are currently seeking a super-efficient Sales Support Livestock & Administration professional to join our team based at our Albury branch.
About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Branch Managers and working as part of a young and energetic livestock team, this role is responsible for providing administration support, marketing and you the opportunity to assist with livestock handling.
You will:
- Assist in performing saleyard administrative tasks including livestock entries, clerking, reconciling, and price reporting.
- Assist with yarding, penning and drafting of livestock at the saleyards, in a fast-paced environment.
- Liaise with Saleyard Operators, Agents and Clients to ensure compliance and the smooth running of sales.
- Provide marketing support to Agents including print, online and social media content for Saleyard and AuctionsPlus livestock sales.
- Proactive forward planning.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. You will be required to have some basic livestock handling experience. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term relationships
- Problem solving skills to resolve issues promptly
- Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Applications and Social Media platforms & the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Time Flexible
- Experience handling livestock
