Position Summary:

Trupanion Australia needs motivated sales professionals. This role plays a fundamental role in driving growth and engagement within Trupanion partners. This job will require min 4 days a week travel (In your region) car is a necessity and you will be based out of your home office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect with key players on a regular cadence 
• Train partnered veterinary hospitals on various key processes
• Liaise with Team members to communicate about assigned partner relationships
• Achieve monthly and quarterly goals
• Build and Connect key relationships with all Trupanion Partners.
• Communicate with key players in veterinary hospitals on a regular cadence to explain the benefits of an insured client base, discuss individual hospital performance, and address any challenges or successes at the hospital level.
• Liaise with Trupanion Account Managers to communicate about assigned accounts
• Generate and lift enrolments within Trupanion Partners (same store sales)
• Close and achieve monthly and quarterly goals
• Research accounts, identify key players, and create interest within prospective partners
• Be able to explain how the product and process works to prospective partners and provide effective training
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• Prioritize workload with respect to Trupanion partners and prospecting new leads
• Report results on a regular basis to hospitals and internally
• Troubleshoot partnered or prospective partners issues including claims, sales, complaints and maximizing member and hospital experiences of Trupanion
• Bring initiatives to the business to increase sales and provide outstanding service with cost and return front of mind
• Guide and manage leads through the entire partner sales funnel
• Train, motivate and mentor hospital staff to use our software
• Closely support management in their strategic goals and perform duties as asked from time to time outside of key responsibilities

Experience:

• Success explaining and discussing the value of products or services to external clients, with preference to a business to business approach and experience
• Experience working within veterinary hospitals or veterinary industry will be valued
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, to include fluency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive with preferred exposure to Dynamics CRM, SharePoint.
