THE ROLE

As an Account Manager you will form part of Vantage’s ‘Private Client Group’, responsible for servicing new clients to enhance their user experience and drive acquisition and commercial production metrics. You will engage clients through outbound calls, positioning yourself as a direct point of contact of the account. We’re looking for experienced financial professionals with a deep and genuine interest in financial markets, to build strong relationships with our potential clients. Someone who is extremely organised, can think and work proactively and is service oriented. The role requires extensive knowledge of trading strategies, macro-economics and, is comfortable interacting with complex trading software.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY

  • Support leads to completing their application and onboard them to be funded.
  • Contact both cold and warm leads and build rapport with prospective clients.
  • Manage a lead/client book between 300 to 500 clients, ensuring allocated clients are introduced, contacted regularly and, managed appropriately.
  • Engage clients through outbound calls/emails. 
  • Complete Personal Account Review (PAR).
  • Ensure disputes and queries from clients are addressed, resolved and/or escalated in a timely manner.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to grow client base through networking and referrals.
  • Actively pursue and follow up on client referrals and partnership opportunities.
  • Acclimate clients to Vantage’s trade technology and core trading functionality.
  • Acclimate clients to Vantage’s tradable product offering and relevant specifications.
  • Assist with various administrative functions including deposits, withdrawals, adjusting leverage etc.
  • Educate clients on price trends, market concepts and trade strategy, especially risk management practices.
  • Provide general advice on key market concepts including price trends, technical and fundamental strategy, risk management practices.
  • Attend and support virtual and in person client appreciate and social events, industry events and workshops.
  • Monitor, record and distribute client feedback to appropriate teams.
  • Work with internal teams to optimize marketing journeys, communications and display content.
  • Support various digital and in-person marketing initiatives.
  • Complete product and platform testing and review. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce better process outcomes.
  • Communicate and adhere to, the regulatory framework governing client accounts and retail trading environment set out by ASIC.

WHAT EXPERIENCES AND KNOWLEDGE DO YOU BRING

  • Genuine interest in financial markets.
  • Advance Mandarin and English language communication skills are compulsory.
  • 1-2 years of sales KPI-focused experience is compulsory.
  • Knowledge of derivatives trading (FX/CFDs/MT4&5) or shares trading is highly preferred.
  • RG146 holder is highly preferred.
  • Strong project management, multitasking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Humility to learn and grow within an organisation.
  • Resilience to change and passion to drive improvements.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
