Wholesale Sales Manager
Full time
$110,000 to $130,000 + Super + KPI bonus per year
We are seeking a talented and driven Sales Manager to lead our wholesale division to success. As the Sales Manager, you will oversee the Wholesale Sales team to meet all sales KPI including sales budgets, conversion ratios, margins and overhead budget. You will lead by example, creating an enthusiastic and successful sales environment and mentoring your team to think outside the box. You will uphold the integrity of the company at all times representing in an honest and ethical manner.
Job Description
- Developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth
- Developing and executing Profit & Loss budget for the sales team
- Mentoring, training and developing sales members to meet individual as well as team KPIs
- Nurturing and developng strong relationships with customers (new and existing) and stakeholders
- Planning and implementing a specific appraisal system that describes the responsibilities and performance standards for each sales team member
- Evaluating market research and sales data
- Devising tactical actions to drive growth in accounts and product lines
- Staying on top of market developments and opportunities; reports as necessary on market activity and identify actions you can take to capitalise on market opportunities
- Partnering with the product managers to launch new products, promotions and campaigns
Requirements
- Experience (minimum 10 years) in a similar role (food service or food wholesale) with demonstrated results in identifying sales growth opportunities against objectives and implementing a plan to improve.
- A high degree of commercial acumen (i.e. excellent communication skills, businesses development, contract negotiation and marketing skills)
- Food industry and HACCP knowledge, including meat and seafood product knowledge
- Proven excellent track record of sales management experience
- Proven track record of leading high-performance teams
- Ability to foster strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Computer literate
