The IT function within this business is a tight knit group with two Salesforce Developers working on upcoming projects and the required resource is really to be an additional resource. Being this is a contract you would need hit the ground running with not much room for error in learning the domain etc.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- 4+ years of experience in Salesforce.com and platform developer and administrator.
- Experience in understanding business requirements to design the required entities like custom objects, creating relationships and junction objects.
- Experience with Apex class, Triggers, Test Class, Batch class, Schedule Apex, Lightning components, LWC and integration.
- Experience working on Custom Objects, Custom Fields, Custom Tab, Validation Rules, Workflow Rules, Process Builder, Flow Builder, Record Types, Page Layout, Profiles, Permission Sets and relationships. (Creating objects, fields, users, profiles, roles, reports, dashboards, custom setting, sharing rules, validation rules, workflows, approval process, page layouts, apex trigger, apex classes, test class etc.)
- Experience in using declarative features like validation rules, workflows, approval process, dynamic approval process, sharing rules automation for satisfying complex business process automations.
- Proficient in Data Migration from Traditional Applications to Salesforce using Import Wizard and Apex Data Loader Utility. ( Data migration/load tools such as Pentaho, Salesforce Dataloader or similar such as WorkBench.)
- Salesforce (CMS) Communities experience including automation to allocate Communities licences.
- Experience with version control including branching and merging (DevOps).
- Experience implementing security and sharing rules at object, field, and record level for different users at different levels of organisation and created various profiles/configured the permission based on the organisational hierarchy.
- Experience in creating and understanding detailed process documentation and deployment process on issues for future reference.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Ability to effectively organise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to both IT and business stakeholders, including taking the initiative to recommend best practices.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Salesforce Developer certifications.
- Good knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data model and products (including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud).
- Good understanding of Salesforce.com Governor Limits with an ability to optimize code to respect those limits.
- Worked as Salesforce admin support governing user account creation, personal information setup, password reset, Roles & Profile creation, user group creation, updating company profile, Network access setup.
- Involved in Sprint planning activities and effort estimation tasks to ensure that each sprint is aligned with appropriate development tasks.
