As a Salesforce Integration specialist, you will be responsible for integrating Salesforce with other software systems and applications within our client organization. Your primary role is to ensure that data and processes flow smoothly between Salesforce and various other business systems, creating a unified and efficient environment for the company.
With excellent communication skills, you will instill confidence in the business and demonstrate the business value of data and digitization. By building reference architectures, guidelines, and principles, you will also contribute to the growth and development of our platform teams.
As a Salesforce Integration Specialist, your role would involve the following responsibilities.
The key responsibilities of a Salesforce integrator include:
1. Integration planning: Analyse the organization's existing systems and processes to identify integration opportunities and requirements. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and goals.
2. Custom development: Develop custom solutions using APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and other integration tools to connect Salesforce with other systems. This may involve creating custom code or utilizing pre-built connectors and middleware.
3. Data mapping and synchronization: Define how data should be mapped and synchronized between Salesforce and other systems to ensure consistency and accuracy across platforms.
4. System testing: Conduct rigorous testing of the integrations to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies before implementation.
5. Deployment and maintenance: Oversee the deployment of integrations and provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the integrations continue to function optimally.
6. Security and compliance: Ensure that data transferred between systems is secure and compliant with relevant data protection regulations.
7. Troubleshooting: In the event of integration issues or errors, investigate and resolve problems promptly to minimize disruptions to business processes.
You will play a crucial role in streamlining business workflows, enhancing data visibility, and improving overall productivity by enabling seamless data exchange and automation between Salesforce and other systems like ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), marketing automation tools, e-commerce platforms, and more.
Your experience
• At least two (2) years of experience in the administration/integration of Salesforce
• Prior experience with management of ongoing enhancement of CRM, Customer Portals and marketing automation tools, ideally Salesforce.
• A sound understanding of agile processes and ceremonies, including prior experience working with agile delivery practises using scrum.
• Hold current Salesforce Certified Administrator or Advanced Administrator credentials.
• Additional Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant, Community Cloud Consultant, Pardot Consultant.
