We are looking for a Salesforce Solutions Architect to join us in this newly created role. You will be responsible for providing for the design and delivery of technically appropriate Salesforce and related solutions to Gentrack customers in projects, adhering to Gentrack Salesforce enterprise and application architecture principles for the system being implemented in accordance with the project scope and governance. Specialist and subject matter expert in Salesforce integration, architecture, planning, scoping, and solution design in a utilities environment. Liaise and integrate with the Gentrack global Salesforce team and leverage global capability where required to strengthen local solution designs and architectures to streamline design and development efforts where possible.

In this role you can expect to :
Working with customers and other Architects, particularly on larger projects, to define requirements and specifying optimum design for solutions using Salesforce as a CRM interface to Gentrack products.
Optimising Salesforce solutions design and product integration during bid, discovery, and early-stage delivery phases.
Management of the technical aspects of Salesforce-based solution project delivery to provide effective, analysis, design, programming and testing in the production of large software implementations
Technical architecture and review of Salesforce and Gentrack solutions proposed by the project delivery teams
Producing architecture and design artifacts as deliverables to the project scope
Maintaining and developing “best of breed” implementation and project delivery processes in conjunction with global Gentrack Salesforce teams.
Maintaining current knowledge of Gentrack business plans, product and future developments
Providing technical and product consulting both internally and externally
Motivation and support of project delivery teams
Leading and mentoring team members at all levels to promote and develop strong technical expertise and practices across Gentrack’s professional services
Assist in maintaining and improving staff recovery levels (productivity) on projects
Protecting project budgets by adhering to project scope and ensuring solutions are appropriate and efficient
What you need to be successful :
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Salesforce including system architecture/solution level roles and/or system integration of large implementation projects with a demonstrated track record with Salesforce in an energy or utilities context strongly preferred.
Systems integration of Salesforce solutions in software development
SDLC and Project Methodologies
Industry knowledge in Utilities
Salesforce Solution Architect Certification (Application, B2C, or B2B) strongly preferred
Programming and technical design ability
Technical specification writing
Customer presentation skills
