The Opportunity
As a Senior Solutions Architect at Gentrack, you will assume a leadership position, guiding the design and delivery of sophisticated technical solutions for our clients' projects. Your role involves overseeing and enhancing the technical aspects of project delivery, ensuring alignment with enterprise and application architecture principles. Leading by example, you will contribute to the development of "best of breed" implementation and project delivery processes. Collaboration with project teams, internal stakeholders, and customers is crucial as you define requirements, specify optimal designs, and provide technical expertise. Your influence will extend to motivating and mentoring team members, contributing significantly to project proposals, and maintaining long-term business relationships with customers.
In addition, you will;

• Support the Global Sustainability Task Force (GSTF) for your respective region. Enable your people to engage and partake in events.
• Encourage awareness of and behaviours aligned to our Sustainability Charter.

• Utilise our sustainability platform (Giki) by taking part in challenges and improving behaviours to be more sustainable. Driving competition and supporting your teams to engage.

The Specifics

• Manage the technical aspects of project delivery, providing effective analysis, design, programming, and testing for large software implementations.
• Review solutions proposed by project delivery teams and produce architecture and design artifacts aligned with project scope.
• Maintain and develop "best of breed" implementation and project delivery processes.
• Work with customers and other Architects to define requirements and specify optimum designs for solutions, utilizing Salesforce as a CRM interface to Gentrack products.
• Optimize SalesForce solutions design and product integration during bid, discovery, and early-stage delivery phases.
• Provide leadership by motivating and supporting project delivery teams, leading and mentoring team members at all levels.
• Contribute to long-term business relationships between Gentrack and customers, endorsing best practices within the Gentrack user group.

What we're looking for (you don’t need to be a guru at all, we’re looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you):

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Salesforce, including system/Solution Architecture roles or system integration in large implementation projects, preferably in energy or utilities contexts.
• Expertise in enterprise solutions, software development lifecycle, and project methodologies.
• Industry knowledge in Software and Utilities.
• Personal attributes including a can-do attitude, commitment to excellence, high energy levels, sound judgment, attention to detail, strong relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
• Open-minded and consultative approach, ability to give and receive constructive feedback.

• Technical skills encompassing programming, technical design, and technical specification writing.
• Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Science, or Software Engineering.
