AddressKey Responsibilities:
- Provide sales service including: responding to customer enquires by phone & in-store, preparing quotes by estimating floor covering quantities from plans & also undertaking on-site measuring.
- Manage customer orders, installation dates, invoicing & providing post-sale services as required.
- Assist with stock management, preparation of flooring products & in-store presentation/marketing.
Important Skills:
- Good verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, the ability to multi-task & manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a busy small team environment including capacity to be flexible with duties & working hours.
- A personal interest in furnishings & interior decoration, sales experience in a retail environment & a willingness to learn how to develop quotes from house plans & on-site measurements.
- Capacity to learn computer-based new quote/invoice management systems, emails & internet.
- Drivers license & willingness to be trained in a forklift operation.
General Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am to 3:00pm (on a rostered basis, generally every fortnight)
