The PositionThe
Sample Coordinator position involves the receipt, coordination, drawing and preparation of chemical and raw material samples from suppliers and our various warehouses for customer evaluation. Key duties involve:
- Operating a forklift to pick products from racking
- Preparing product samples
- Packaging and completion of Air or Road transport declarations and organising transport
- To arrange, check, label and authorise packaging and transport documentation
- Maintaining sample inventory stock levels
- Ad hoc clerical QA duties
- Assisting in the Stores i.e. general cleaning, stocktake, control and disposal of reject stock
About youThis role would suit a person who would like to mix clerical duties with a more hands on role. The successful applicant must possess:
- An Australian Forklift Licence (LF) essential
- Drivers Licence to attend external 3PL sites
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on servicing internal customers
- Good organisation and time management skills
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Able to work independently and in support of a larger Sales and Quality Assurance team
