About the Role
Coordinate the development and production of Midford Schoolwear products ensuring quality, production lead time and budget requirements are met. Located at Milperra, reporting to the Senior Production Manager, you will be responsible for the development and production of Schoolwear products, within a specific category, mainly local product. You will also liaise with local and overseas suppliers, requests, review and assessment of samples.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Off-shore and local quoting of garments with various suppliers
- Organise sampling of garments
- Style set up process
- Process production orders within Midford lead time
- Follow up with suppliers regarding lead times, product information and/or business requirements
- Liaise with suppliers, factories, sales team, production team and customers
- New product introduction process
Skills/Experience
- Fabric construction and testing an advantage
- Garment construction and manufacturing knowledge is essential
- Knowledge working with Microsoft Office
- Prior experience in SAPB1 an advantage
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise competing tasks within a timely manner
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Commitment to honesty, integrity and quality with a high work ethic
