The Solution Architect for ERP plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimising ERP systems within FAIR. This individual is responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and ensuring the ERP system aligns with the organisation's goals and objectives. The Solution Architect collaborates with stakeholders across various departments to define system requirements, develop architecture plans, and oversee the implementation process.
About the role
- Design and architect SAP systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for SAP projects, focusing on S/4Hana migrations and implementations
- Define integration strategies for connecting the ERP system with other enterprise applications, databases, and external systems. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across different systems
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for SAP system changes and enhancements
- Oversee the implementation of ERP projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting quality standards
- Monitor the performance of the ERP system and identify opportunities for optimization. Implement enhancements and fine-tune configurations to improve system efficiency and user experience
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the functionality, usability, and value of the ERP system. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends and evaluate their potential impact on customers' IT landscape
About you
- Experience in SAP S/4 Hana migrations and implementation projects
- Strong knowledge of SAP technical architecture principles and best practices
- In-depth understanding of SAP S/4Hana Public Cloud and its offerings
- Well developed experience gained in a consulting environment, providing guidance and recommendations to customers
- Proficiency in SAP modules and technologies, including S/4 Hana, SAP BTP
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving SAP technologies and industry trend
